James A. Orth is the Senior Managing Partner of WHI Collective Real Estate LP (“WHICRE”) and Chair of the Investment Committee. Mr. Orth oversees firm and portfolio strategy, investment origination, underwriting, and asset management for the firm. Prior to founding WHICRE, Mr. Orth established WHICRE’s legacy firm as a Founding Managing Principal where he was responsible for firm strategy, investment strategy and execution, and portfolio management. Prior to that, Mr. Orth was a Senior Director at Wrightwood Capital in Chicago, where he was responsible for originating, structuring, and closing equity, preferred equity and mezzanine debt investments in properties throughout the United States. Additionally, while at Wrightwood Capital, he supervised asset management teams responsible for portfolios of debt and equity investments in real estate. Previously, Mr. Orth had senior roles at real estate investment and development companies based in Chicago and Seattle. Mr. Orth serves on the Board of Advisors of the James A. Graaskamp Center for Real Estate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison; serves as a member of the Board of Trustees and Investment Committee of the Ravinia Music Festival; and is a member of the Chicago Commonwealth Club. Mr. Orth holds a B.A. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an M.B.A. from Loyola University of Chicago.
Bradley J. Hannah is a Managing Partner of WHI Collective Real Estate LP (“WHICRE”) and a member of the Investment Committee. Mr. Hannah is responsible for firm strategy and oversees firm operations and fund management. Prior to founding WHICRE, Mr. Hannah established WHICRE’s legacy firm as a Founding Principal, where he oversaw firm operations, compliance, fund administration, financial reporting and taxation matters, as well as focused on acquisitions and asset management activities. Prior to that, Mr. Hannah was an Associate in the Chicago office of Charles River Associates, where he provided valuation and advisory services in connection with technology-rich licensing and merger & acquisition transactions. Mr. Hannah holds a B.S., cum laude, in Finance and Decision Sciences from Miami University.
